June Updates
We have officially planted our first plant! The month of June has been filled with weekly mosaic meetups and an exciting in-kind donation of 80 raised beds to start our garden!
May 16 Workday
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who came out for our fourth workday. Extra special thanks to the Clean it Crew, LLC, who prepped, power washed, and painted the shed with a sprayer.
April 25 Workday
After our third workday, you can now see our progress from Warm Springs Road. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers for starting to give this space more curb appeal.
April 4 Workday
Thank you to everyone who came out to our second volunteer workday to clear brush around our future greenhouse site. A huge thank you to Girl Scout Troop 50208 for transforming tires into beautifully painted planters. Thank you to Tommy Montgomery of Harvest Coffee Co. for the ice and delicious energy balls!
First Volunteer Workday
Thank you to everyone who came out to our first volunteer workday to clear trash from our future greenhouse site. A huge thank you to the local organization Throw It in the Bag for helping plan and lead such an incredible day. It’s amazing what 60 dedicated volunteers can accomplish in just three hours!
The Beginning
For two years, Living Mosaic’s founder, Kristin Andris, drove by an abandoned factory, dreaming about what it could be. She imagined a place where neighbors could learn, create, and grow together, teaching each other lost skills and making the most of resources already available within the community.
