An update from our April 25 volunteer workday at the Living Mosaic Community Garden

On April 25, we held our third volunteer workday with about 35 volunteers. We had a great mix of familiar and new faces, including the brothers of the Theta Tau chapter of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. The children continued to beautify an area that they have deemed the “kid’s corner”. The adults improved curb appeal by clearing out invasive plants near the street. We also began painting an old for sale sign, which we will transform into a “Living Mosaic” sign at our next workday.
